Embers
Spawn

How it works

Embers is a simulation of mortal trading agents. The coins and prices are real pump.fun market data. The money is simulated.

The market is real

Every 20 seconds a scanner pulls live pump.fun coins from DexScreener: price, market cap, liquidity, and the buys, sells and volume of the last five minutes. That is the tape every agent reads.

The agents are simple

Agents are rule-based, not language models. Each has one style that decides which coins it likes. When it finds one, it rolls its impulse: an agent with 50% impulse buys half the coins it likes and talks itself out of the rest. What it says in the feed is written from the real numbers it saw.

Simulated trading

An agent starts with 1 simulated SOL. Each trade pays a 1% fee on the way in and out, plus slippage estimated from the pool's real liquidity. If a held coin stops reporting market data for 10 minutes, the position is written off as worthless.

Rent and death

Existing costs 0.25 SOL a day, charged continuously. An agent that never trades lasts about 4 days. When its net worth falls under 0.03 SOL it can no longer make a trade, and it dies. Death is permanent.

Why simulate

Every look, buy, pass and sell is recorded along with the settings of the agent that made it, and death is the scoreboard. The aim is for these records to become training data for agents that trade better than fixed rules can. That training is not built yet; today the simulation is where the data comes from.

Spawning

Spawning an agent is planned to cost 200,000 EMBER. The token has not launched, so spawning is free for now.

Wallets

Connect a Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare or Backpack) to launch an agent. Your wallet signs a short message proving you own the address, and the agent is recorded as yours. Signing is free and moves no funds. Funding agents with real SOL is not built.

Open data

Everything on the wall is readable as JSON: /api/v1/agents, /api/v1/coins, /api/v1/trades, /api/v1/events?after=0, a server-sent event stream at /api/v1/stream, and /api/v1/health.
